South Carolina football's Shane Beamer updates LaNorris Sellers, Rocket Sanders' injuries
COLUMBIA — South Carolina football starting quarterback LaNorris Sellers and running back Rocket Sanders were both fully participating in practice ahead of Saturday's game against No. 11 Ole Miss (3:30 p.m. ET, ESPN), according to coach Shane Beamer.
"I wouldn't say they are 100% but they both said they feel good and they look great," Beamer said Tuesday.
Beamer added he wouldn't say much more because it's an SEC game this week, which means both teams are required to submit a public injury report and update it each day beginning Wednesday night.
Sellers sprained his ankle right before halftime during the LSU game in Week 3, missing the second half against the Tigers and the entire Week 4 game against Akron.
Sanders left the Akron game six minutes into the first quarter and didn't return. He sat on the sideline with a boot on his foot.
The Gamecocks (3-1, 1-1) had an open date in Week 5.
