Social media reacts to Marquette’s Tyler Kolek going to the New York Knicks in the second round
Marquette's star guard Tyler Kolek will head to the Big Apple as the New York Knicks selected him with the 34th pick in the NBA draft.
Kolek goes at the top of the second round after receiving some first-round buzz leading up to the draft.
The Providence, Rhode Island native stuffed the stat sheet his last season with the Golden Eagles. He led the country with 7.7 assists and averaged 15.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.6 steals. He also shot 49.6% from the field and 38.3% from three-point range.
The 2022-23 Big East Player of the Year was on the all-American second team and is second all-time in assists at Marquette.
