After a day off on Sunday, the Cleveland Browns put pads on for the first time on Monday, though they had a shorter practice as they slowly ramp up. The preseason is less than two weeks away as the 2024 season gets closer and closer for the most anticipated Browns season in a long time.

Jerome Ford returned to the field after missing the first three practices. Kevin Stefanski confirmed after practice that he became a father recently, which is why he was absent. Both Dawand Jones and Michael Hall Jr. missed practice but Stefanski said they would return soon and their injuries were nothing serious to worry about.

The team placed Brian Allen on injured reserve Monday after he left practice with a leg injury during Saturday's practice. David Njoku met with the media and said he believes that he can have an even better season this year after his breakout last year.

Here are the sights and sounds from Monday's practice as camp continues in West Virginia.
