The Georgia Bulldogs are on the rise in the SEC standings after earning an impressive 30-15 road win over the Texas Longhorns.

Georgia running back Trevor Etienne scored three rushing touchdowns, and the Bulldog defense forced four Texas turnovers and recorded seven sacks.

Also in Week 8, the Tennessee Volunteers earned a huge 24-17 home win over the Alabama Crimson Tide. Tennessee won a penalty-filled game behind a strong performance from its defense, which held Alabama to a season-low 17 points.

LSU continued its undefeated conference season with a 34-10 win over Arkansas. LSU is slated to play Texas A&M next week in a battle of undefeated SEC teams (in conference play only).

The Texas A&M Aggies continue to be the top team in the SEC standings. The Aggies picked up a 34-24 win over Mississippi State. Vanderbilt beat Ball State, 24-14, in a nonconference game.

Florida beat Kentucky, 48-20, ahead of Florida's bye week. South Carolina absolutely dominated Oklahoma, 35-9, for a road win.

Missouri came back from down 14 points without starting quarterback Brady Cook to defeat Auburn, 21-17, and keep its College Football Playoff hopes alive.
