SEC Nation, Tim Tebow make Florida-Georgia prediction

Even Tim Tebow couldn't find a rationale to pick Florida over Georgia ahead of the 2024 rivalry game in Jacksonville on Saturday.

SEC Nation spent all morning outside EverBank Stadium as the World's Largest Cocktail party commenced. Much of the show was spent splitting coverage for both teams, but when it came down to prediction time, the Georgia Bulldogs were the pick across the board.

Legendary SEC commentator Paul Finebaum, former Alabama safety Roman Harper, former Vanderbilt QB Jordan Rodgers, WWE legend and former Georgia Bulldog Bill Goldberg all picked UGA to come out on top.

But no one expected the Florida football legend to pick the 'Dawgs until he reluctantly admitted his prediction while holding a WWE championship belt with Gator plates. It hurt to watch, but Tebow couldn't deny that Georgia is the better team right now.

However, Tebow ended his segment by saying, "Gator Nation, you never know, something crazy might happen." Earlier in the program, Tebow laid out what needs to happen for Florida to emerge victorious in the rivalry game for the first time since 2020.

“Well, I think if you look at it as a whole, there are a lot of roads to victory for Georgia," Tebow said. "There’s only a few for Florida and every one of those roads has to go through DJ Lagway.

"... His key to the game, it has to start by being a quick decision-maker. … Then he has to be a threat in the run game. Then, you’ve got to hit a deep ball at least every quarter. ... Maybe the biggest key, is he cannot force it. It’s not worth it. You have the hopes and the dreams of the team and most of Jacksonville riding behind you. You just can’t force it.”

How to watch Florida-Georgia in 2024

Florida and Georgia face off for a Week 10 rivalry battle in Jacksonville on Saturday, Nov. 2 with kickoff slated for 3:30 p.m. ET. The pregame festivities will be featured on SEC Nation and the game will be broadcast on ABC.
