Reports: Dion Lewis leaving Patriots to join Derrick Henry in Titans backfield
The Titans apparently had a plan when they released veteran running back DeMarco Murray last Thursday.
Tennessee reportedly agreed on Tuesday to sign former New England Patriots running back Dion Lewis to a four-year deal. Lewis, 27, is coming off a career year where he tallied 896 yards on five yards per carry along with 32 catches for 214 yards in the air and nine total touchdowns.

He’ll pair with third-year running back Derrick Henry, who tallied 744 yards and five touchdowns on the ground last season to give the Titans a dynamic combo threat out of the backfield.
It’s the third notable departure from New England on Tuesday with cornerback Malcolm Butler reportedly joining Lewis in Tennessee while receiver Danny Amendola is reportedly leaving to play for the rival Miami Dolphins.
His deal is reportedly guaranteed for $11.5 million.
