According to TSN insider Darren Dreger, Vancouver Canucks injured players Dakota Joshua and Thatcher Demko could return soon.

Dreger says both players are looking at a three-to-four-week return target.

"The outside timeline, and let's not staple this down, is three to four weeks. For both guys," Dreger said.

This is encouraging for both players as they deal with serious injuries. Joshua is recovering from testicular cancer, and the fact he might only miss the first month of the regular season is terrific.

The same goes for Demko's timeline. If the Canucks only lose the first month of the season without the Vezina finalist, that is a huge victory.

NHL rosters will need to be finalized by 5 p.m. ET today.
