Renovations are coming to LSU baseball's Alex Box Stadium. See what's in store

The LSU Board of Supervisors approved a recommendation during its bi-monthly meeting Friday to relocate both the home and visitor's bullpen and the construction of new field-leveling seating at LSU baseball's Alex Box Stadium.

Relocation of the bullpens as well as an additional 160 seats is expected to be completed prior to the beginning of the 2025 baseball season. Per the lease agreement, renovations at Alex Box Stadium are expected to begin in late June, following the conclusion of the current season.

The home bullpen will be moved to a newly built area underneath the right field bleachers while the visiting team's bullpen will be relocated to behind a new wall beyond left field.

In the spots where both bullpens are currently located, in foul territory on both sides of the field, will be where the new 160 seats will be constructed, with most of the new seats set on the home side, right field side.

Cost for completion of the renovations is listed to be more than $1 million but can't exceed $3 million, paid in full by the Tiger Athletic Foundation.

LSU's new Alex Box Stadium opened in 2009.
