Red Sox kick off ALDS celebration over Yankees by blasting 'New York, New York' in the clubhouse
If you’re going to troll the Boston Red Sox following a win, you better make sure they don’t have a chance to answer back.
New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge raised some eyebrows after video emerged of him listening to Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York” following the team’s Game 2 win in Boston. That decision may have backfired after the Red Sox eliminated the Yankees from the playoffs Tuesday.
Following their 4-3 win in Game 4 of the American League Division Series, the Red Sox made sure to kick off their celebration by blaring “New York, New York” in the clubhouse.

The team was not subtle about its intentions. To make matters worse, the Red Sox clinched while in New York. They not only trolled the Yankees in their own city, but they also did so in the visitor’s clubhouse in Yankee Stadium. That has to hurt.
It’s never a good thing to get eliminated from the playoffs by your biggest rival. It’s even worse when that rival decides to stomp all over your grave.
