Thirteen current NFL stadiums were constructed prior to 2000 with the historic home of the Chicago Bears, Soldier Field, the oldest venue in the league (although the Bears didn't start playing there full-time until 1971).

Seventeeth current NFL stadiums started being used in 2000 or later SoFi Stadium, the current home of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers and Allegiant Stadium, the home of the Las Vegas Raiders are the most recently constructed venues.

There are 30 NFL stadiums for the 32 NFL teams. The New York Giants and New York Jets share MetLife Stadium, which was built in 2010.
