Are QBs Trevor Lawrence, Will Levis active for Tennessee Titans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars?
Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence is officially active and Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis will officially be inactive when the Titans host the Jaguars.
The Titans (5-11) battle the Jaguars (9-7) at Nissan Stadium on Sunday (noon, CBS) to end the regular season. Veteran Ryan Tannehill will start for the Titans as Levis recovers from ankle and foot injuries. Lawrence has dealt with shoulder and finger injuries through the week and was listed as questionable coming into Sunday.
Offensive linemen Daniel Brunskill and Jaelyn Duncan will also miss Sunday's game for the Titans. Prior to Sunday's game, the Titans signed safety Matt Jackson to the active roster off the practice squad and elevated linebacker Tae Crowder and defensive back Kendall Sheffield to the gameday roster. Crowder and Sheffield will revert to the practice squad after Sunday's game ends.
With a win, the Jaguars win the AFC South and clinch a home playoff game. With a loss, the Jaguars will be eliminated from playoff contention. The Titans have already been eliminated from playoff contention and will only be playing for draft positioning, contract incentives and for the chance to end the season on a positive note.
