Tuesday marked cutdown day in the National Football League with 90-man rosters all getting trimmed to 53 players.
The cuts mark the end of some player's journeys to making an initial roster, but it doesn't mean their NFL journey is done. Teams will quickly begin filling out their 16-man practice squads, which can now include up to six veterans with four-plus accrued seasons of NFL service.
