The Carolina Panthers' trip to (and from) Foxborough wasn't a smooth one. But fortunately, everyone involved is A-OK.

As reported by WCNC Charlotte, a Delta plane carrying players and staff back from their preseason opener against the New England Patriots slid off a taxiway at Charlotte Douglas International Airport early Friday morning. Multiple reports have confirmed that there were no injuries to any of the 188 passengers, who were deplaned shortly after and bused to Wilson Air Center.

Delta issued the following statement on the incident:

"The right main gear of Delta 8860 exited the taxiway at Charlotte Douglas International Airport following a normal arrival. No injuries were reported by the 188 customers who are deplaning and being bused to the terminal. We apologize to our customers for the inconvenience.”

According to FlightAware, the Panthers departed on DL8860 from Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport at 12:45 a.m. ET, an hour later than originally scheduled. The flight arrived into Charlotte at 2:41 a.m. ET.
