The defending champion Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers will kick off in Super Bowl 58 at Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium on Sunday. Not only will the victorious team hoist the Vince Lombardi Trophy, players on the winning side will walk away with an extra $171,000 bonus, according to the NFL's collective bargaining agreement. Players on the losing team even take home a consolation prize of $96,000.
The big payday is the cherry on top for the stars of the Chiefs and 49ers, many of whom are playing on multi-million dollar contracts. Here are the highest-paid players in Super Bowl 58 based on average annual value, according to Over The Cap.

Who is the highest-paid player in the Super Bowl 58?
That title of the highest-paid player in Super Bowl 58 belongs to Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
In September, Mahomes agreed to a restructured contract with the Chiefs that will pay him $210.6 million guaranteed between 2023 and 2026, the most ever for an NFL player in a four-year span, according to ESPN. Mahomes is under contract until 2031, but he and the Chiefs will revisit his contract after the 2026 season.

2. Nick Bosa (DE), San Francisco 49ers: $34 million (5 years, $170 million): Bosa became the highest-paid defensive player in NFL history just four days before the 2023 season after he and the 49ers agreed to a five-year, $170 million extension.
