The Carolina Panthers are continuing to shuffle around their defense.

According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, the team is signing outside linebacker Cam Gill and defensive lineman Jonathan Harris to their active roster. Gill will come over from the Detroit Lions' practice squad while Harris moves on from the Miami Dolphins' practice squad.

Gill spent the offseason in Carolina. The former Tampa Bay Buccaneer appeared in the team's preseason finale against the Buffalo Bills, where he injured his ankle.

The Panthers would later release Gill off injured reserve on Sept. 5.

Harris spent the bulk of his four NFL campaigns in Denver, including the 2022 season under current Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero. The 6-foot-5, 295-pounder played in 31 games for the Broncos—amassing 80 combined tackles, a sack and six quarterback hits between 2019 and 2023.
