'Ope, you're too slow': Giannis gives fake high-five and Jaylen Brown calls him a 'child'
The Milwaukee Bucks have a lot on their minds after falling to 2-8 with a loss to the Boston Celtics on Sunday afternoon.
There's also some new spice to Milwaukee's Eastern Conference rivalry with Boston.
First, Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo gave Boston's Jaylen Brown a fake handshake after an offensive foul, pulling his arm back at the last second with a wry smile.
Brown obviously was displeased. He later gave Antetokounmpo a hard foul in the fourth quarter, which was elevated to a flagrant after a video review by the referees.
Asked about the handshake by The Athletic's Jay King after the game, Brown didn't pull any punches.
“Giannis is a child," Brown said. "I’m focusing on helping my team get a win and that’s what we did tonight.”

Brown was then asked if the hard foul was in response to Antetokounmpo's antics.
“Nah," Brown said. "Just playing basketball.”
Antetokounmpo said everything was in jest.
"It's a joke," Antetokounmpo said. "We're playing basketball and sometimes you have to have fun while playing.
"I think he's an incredible player. He does whatever he can to help his team win. Extremely competitive player. We've played against one another many times. I think we always try to joke around in the flow of the game.
"It's something I do with my kids. Play around sometimes and sometimes like, ah, give you a high five. Ope, you're too slow. I just did it. I enjoyed it, though. It was fun."
Informed that Brown called him a child, Antetokounmpo was surprised.
"I thought that I gave him a compliment," Antetokounmpo said. "At the same time, this is who I am.
"I play the game for fun, joy. I try to surround myself with young people so I can stay young myself. Be around my kids a lot, my nieces. Sometimes I might go out there on the court at times and play and do stuff like that.
"But at the end of the day, as I said, I think he's an incredible player. Always does the right think to help his team win. But I'm just going to continue to be me.
"At the end of the day, if I'm called a child then so be it. I have three children and six nieces, so take care of a lot of kids around here. Sometimes when you're around the kids, you try to make it fun. It's fun to be around them. I just try to go out there and have fun.
"Great player, great competitor. If I have another opportunity, I'll do it again."
The teams play again on Dec. 6 in Boston ... unless they meet in the in-season Emirates Cup tournament.
