What Ole Miss football coach Lane Kiffin said about Zxavian Harris facing charges
OXFORD ― Ole Miss football defensive lineman Zxavian Harris faces charges of domestic violence and obstructing arrest, according to Lafayette County Sheriff's Department Records.
Speaking to the media at his weekly news conference on Monday, Rebels coach Lane Kiffin was asked if the program had a comment on Harris' charges.
"We were made aware of that," Kiffin said. "We're still gathering information on that. We won't have any other comment than that."
Harris also faced multiple charges in the summer of 2023, including felony fleeing and driving under the influence.
Listed at 6-foot-7 and 320 pounds, Harris played 258 snaps on defense for the Rebels last season, according to Pro Football Focus data. He became more important as the season wore on, averaging 19 snaps per game before Ole Miss' open week and roughly 29 snaps afterward.
Kiffin did not specify whether Harris would be subject to any internal discipline.
