Nick Dunlap PGA Tour tracker: Dunlap finishes in last place at shortened AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am

Alabama golfer Nick Dunlap became the first amateur golfer in 33 years to win on the PGA Tour on Jan. 21, winning The American Express in La Quinta, California.

A 20-year-old sophomore at the University of Alabama, Dunlap became the first to win a U.S. Junior Amateur and PGA Tour event while still an amateur and is the second-youngest tour winner ever behind only Jordan Spieth. He is only the fifth amateur to win on tour since 1950.

After taking home the trophy but none of the purse, Dunlap withdrew from the Farmers Insurance Open to mull a huge decision: return to Tuscaloosa to complete his second season as a collegiate golfer or join the PGA Tour as a full-time professional. On Jan. 25, Dunlap announced that he would join the Tour and make his professional debut at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Thursday, Feb. 1.

The Pebble Beach Pro-Am is a four-day tournament lasting from Feb. 1-4. It is played on two different courses: Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Hill GC. There will be no cut, so Dunlap will have the opportunity to participate on all four days no matter how he performs. The purse is $20 million, with the winner receiving $3.6 million. The tournament will be televised on NBC's Golf Channel.
