The Falcons are going into the 2024 NFL season as one of the league's most intriguing teams. While not much has changed personnel-wise on offense, the addition of quarterback Kirk Cousins has elevated expectations for the entire team.

Cousins' presence on offense will greatly benefit his teammates, including wide receiver Drake London and tight end Kyle Pitts. Both players have been limited by poor quarterback play over the last two seasons. Falcons running back Bijan Robinson may actually benefit the most from the team adding Cousins.

The second-year ball carrier, who rushed for 969 yards and an additional 487 receiving yards as a rookie, could take his game to another level playing behind a competent QB. CBS Sports' Garrett Podell listed Robinson as one of 10 offensive players who are in a "perfect position to thrive" this season:

Having a more versatile offense should bode well for Robinson. Opposing defenses will have to respect Atlanta's passing game, which can create more running room for the former Texas star. Couple that with a new offensive coordinator in Zac Robinson, and we expect a more dynamic overall unit in 2024.

"He's a mastermind when it comes to football," proclaimed Robinson during a training camp interview with Kay Adams. The Falcons' new offensive coordinator even told his star running back that he intends to use him in a similar role to that of 49ers RB Christian McCaffery.

If the team can finally take that next step on offense, Atlanta has a real shot to take home its first division crown since 2016.
