What has OU softball said about Jordy Bahl?

OU, which also competed in Puerto Vallarta last week, had scouts at the Nebraska-Washington game.

“They saw it and they knew something wasn’t going to be good,” OU coach Patty Gasso said Tuesday. “Jordy, I think she was walking around and you thought maybe it’s just a sprain or something. But she’s so strong that her legs can maintain her kneecap. … When you get your ACL torn you are in massive pain and you’re not able to really walk so it was pretty amazing how she was just kind of moving around.

“It’s horrible for anybody really. … you wish her well.”

Bahl spent some time with the Sooners at the airport on the way back from Puerto Vallarta.

“There’s still the memories,” Gasso said. “The last memory they had was singing on stage with Toby Keith and that’s something they will cherish — especially now — forever.”
