National early signing period: Jersey Shore athletes make their college announcements
Jersey Shore high school athletes have been announcing their plans to play sports in college with the start of the National Signing Period for all sports except football.
Wednesday marked the beginning of the early signing period for Division I and Division II men’s and women’s basketball and the start of the signing period for all other sports except football.
The early signing period for basketball lasts until Nov. 20. The signing period for other sports except football goes until Aug. 1, 2025.
The early signing period for football begins Dec. 4 and runs through Dec. 6.
