Nashville Predators stay busy, acquire Arizona forward Jason Zucker
The Nashville Predators made another trade deadline move Friday, acquiring forward Jason Zucker from Arizona Coyotes.
The return for Arizona is a sixth-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft. Nashville sent a fifth-round pick to Chicago for Anthony Beauvillier on Thursday, on the same day they traded Yakov Trenin for a third-round pick.

Adding Zucker to the lineup provides additional depth scoring a Nashville Predators team that struggled to add goals outside of the top line with Filip Forsberg, Ryan O'Reilly, and Gustav Nyquist.
Zucker has 25 points in 51 games for the Coyotes this season, including nine goals. The 32-year-old was originally drafted by Minnesota in the 2nd round of the 2010 NHL Draft. He played 456 games for the Wild, scoring 132 goals and 111 assists, before moving to the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2020.
Zucker signed a one-year, $5.3 million deal with Arizona this past summer. He will become a free agent again after this season.
