Nashville Predators shut out Panthers; points streak at franchise-record 16 games
SUNRISE, Fla. — The Nashville Predators defeated the Florida Panthers 3-0 at Amerant Bank Arena on Thursday, extending their points streak to a franchise-record 16 games.
Gustav Nyquist got the scoring started at the 17:47 mark of the first period, putting home a rebound past Panthers goalie Sergei Bobrovsky. Filip Forsberg added the second goal on a power play at the 7:32 mark of the second period.
They took a long time to review this, but I don't think it's particularly close. Filip Forsberg's stick is clearly below the crossbar.
