Following the uncovering of his racist and homophobic tweets during Tuesday’s All-Star Game, Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Josh Hader will be required to go through sensitivity training and participate in diversity and inclusion initiatives, Major League Baseball announced Wednesday.

He will not face suspension.

“During last night’s game we became aware of Mr. Hader’s unacceptable social media comments in years past and have since been in communication with the Brewers regarding our share concerns,” MLB’s release states. “After the game, Mr. Hader took the necessary step of expressing remorse for his highly offensive and hurtful language, which fails to represent the values of our game and our expectations for all those who are part of it. The Office of the Commissioner will require sensitivity training for Mr. Hader and participation in MLB’s diversity and inclusion initiatives.”

After Hader gave up a game-tying three-run homer to Jean Segura Tuesday night, Twitter users scrolled back through Hader’s account and discovered a series of offensive content sent over an eight-month span when Hader was 17.

Among the tweets was repeated use of the N-word, one that said “I hate gay people,” one supporting white power, and others that ranged from derogatory statements toward women to one that simply read “KKK.”

Hader issued an apology in front of hoards of media after the game, saying that that comments don’t “reflect on who [he] is as a person today.”

Milwaukee Brewers general manager David Stearns also issued a statement Wednesday morning:
