MLB playoffs scores, highlights: Results as Tigers and Royals tie both series

While only two MLB playoff games were played today, they were both absolutely vital to their respective series. The Detroit Tigers were embarrassed in Game 1, tallying only four hits throughout the entire contest against the Cleveland Guardians. Meanwhile, the Kansas City Royals gave the New York Yankees a run for their money before getting ousted, 7-6.

Both the Tigers and the Royals answered back with resounding wins, tying up their respective series. Here are the scores and best highlights from the day's action.
