Miami DB celebrates interception by rocking football to sleep while wearing turnover chain
By now you should know all about the Miami Hurricanes‘ turnover chain. Each time the Canes’ defense or special teams comes up with the ball, the player responsible gets rewarded with an oversized Miami chain necklace.
The players’ celebrations when they get the chain are pretty great. And defensive back Michael Jackson’s celebration after an interception of Syracuse quarterback Eric Dungey on Saturday might have been the best.
Shhhhhhh. He just got the ball to sleep.
Unfortunately for Jackson, he didn’t get to hold onto the chain for long. Syracuse quarterback Eric Dungey tossed another interception on the very next drive for the Orange, which meant the chain got a new owner. This time it was Miami’s Jaquan Johnson coming up with the pick.
Johnson didn’t have as good of a reaction as Jackson did, but any time the chain gets a chance to shine is a great moment.
Dungey has already been picked off three times by the Hurricanes before halftime. This could start shaping up as an all-time chain game if that trend continues.
Oh, and in case you were worried, Sebastian has his very own turnover chain. It’s just as amazing as the one on Miami’s sideline.

Thank you, Miami. You gave college football the one celebration it never knew it needed so badly.
