Miami Dolphins' Tyreek Hill playfully teases Odell Beckham Jr. in Kevin Durant comp

MIAMI GARDENS - Miami Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill compared Odell Beckham, Jr., to Kevin Durant after his new teammate responded to a fan on X Monday.

A fan named Keith McClendon tagged OBJ and posted at him: "Yup @OBJ scared to play against the Bills and Jags" after learning Beckham, Jr.'s status for the first four games is in question.

OBJ replied: "Terrified!!!! I'm actually scared to play against everyone on the schedule ... Shakin in my boots."

Then, Hill replied to OBJ: "When we signed KD."

Hill is a jokester, prankster and provocoetur.

So, yes, it is likely Hill is simply poking fun at OBJ by comparing him to the NBA star, who is famously sensitive and has responded to fans on social media.

OBJ has yet to practice since he signed with the Dolphins on May 8.

It's possible Beckham, Jr., misses at least the first four games of this year, with a 53-man roster decision due Tuesday by 4 p.m.

"TBD," coach Mike McDaniel said. "More information required."

Tua Tagovailoa has expressed concern about not having any practice reps with OBJ.

"There’s not a scenario where he’s going to just jump out there with a cape on without practicing at all," McDaniel said of OBJ playing without practicing. "I think for me, it’s like every other player; you make sure that they progress and you get them back on the field as fast as their body allows them to, and then you allow the comfort level of the player to dictate when he plays.

"So are we going to play football with Tua and Odell being uncomfortable with their connectivity in a real game? Absolutely not. So the measures that we’ll take, we’re trying to make sure that when he’s on the field, that he’s done absolutely everything to minimize how long it takes for him to be live action. So it’s just step by step, and you can rest assured there won’t be discomfort in Miami Gardens when we’re playing in the stadium at Hard Rock or anywhere else.”

Odell Beckham Jr.: OBJ still not practicing for Miami Dolphins

Beckham, Jr., was not seen at the open portion of Miami's practice on Monday.

The regular season is less than two weeks away.
