Miami Dolphins practice report: How Tua Tagovailoa & Co. looked Tuesday
MIAMI GARDENS -- Tua Tagovailoa and his Miami Dolphins were back on the practice field for about a two-hour practice Tuesday after a walk-through the day prior.
Highlights:
Tagovailoa had a pass that was tipped by Siran Neal and intercepted by Marcus Maye. Overall, the defense got the better of the first 11-on-11s.
Mike White hit Tyreek Hill for a touchdown. Hill was so far behind the defense thanks to a blown assignment there was no missing on this one.
Tagovailoa used Durham Smythe for a couple of short gains.
Kendall Fuller broke up a pass intended for Willie Snead. Snead gained zero separation on the play.
Braylon Sanders leaped high to grab a ball from Skylar Thompson, who then found Kyrie McGowan. Thompson was finding some rhythm, hitting Salvon Ahmed with a man in his face.
Jordyn Brooks batted down a Tagovailoa pass.
Thompson again hit Sanders with Neal defending.
Jonnu Smith had a nice run, possibly a touchdown of about 10 yards, on a run around end, which is proving to be an effective play again for the offense.
Fuller nearly picked off a Tagovailoa pass intended for Hill. Fuller did pushups as punishment.
Tagovailoa bought time and found Erik Ezukanma for a 6-yard score.
White hit Hill for a short score.
Before practice, the Dolphins announced they have released DT Teair Tart, who had signed in April.
OL Robert Jones was in the orange jersey.
Not spotted: Anthony Walker, Mo Kamara, Benito Jones, Ethan Bonner. On offense: Jeff Wilson, Anthony Schwartz, Tanner Conner, Aaron Brewer.
