Miami Dolphins depth chart: What changes at WR with Odell Beckham addition
MIAMI GARDENS — The Miami Dolphins now have one of the best, if not the best, wide receiver depth charts in the NFL.
Consider that Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and Odell Beckham Jr. have totaled 1,534 catches, 21,456 receiving yards and 153 touchdowns in the NFL.
Insane.
The Dolphins may add a veteran guard, defensive tackle and/or safety in June or July.
But this is the big May purchase by Dolphins general manager Chris Grier.
This is a win-now move.
In our recent way-too-early 53-man depth chart roster projection, we tabbed six receivers for the Dolphins:
Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Braxton Berrios, River Cracraft, Erik Ezukanma, Malik Washington
And we added: "It's certainly possible that Cracraft, Ezukanma or Washington is beaten out by seventh-rounder Tahj Washington, but that's a long way away. It's also possible Miami still adds a veteran like Odell Beckham."
Well, OBJ happened.
What does that mean?
Miami Dolphins depth chart decisions won't be easy
Well, perhaps things are a bit tougher for Cracraft or Ezukanma.
Or, I guess, perhaps Miami keeps seven receivers and one less running back or tight end.
We'll see how all these guys look at organized team activities and training camp.
But for now, here is the Miami Dolphins' wide receiver depth chart:
What is the Miami Dolphins' wide receiver depth chart?
Tyreek Hill
Hill, 30, and a future Hall of Famer, is a Pro Bowler in all eight NFL seasons.
Jaylen Waddle
Waddle, 25, is under contract for two more years but is due an extension.
Odell Beckham Jr.
Beckham, 31, had a career-high 16.1 yards per catch with Baltimore in 2023.
Braxton Berrios
Berrios, 28, is Miami's top returner and can be used in the slot or on gadget plays.
River Cracraft
Cracraft, 29, is sure-handed, has value as a willing run blocker and on special teams.
Erik Ezukanma
Ezukanma, 24, was shut down last season due to a neck injury but his size/strength intrigue.
Malik Washington
Washington, 23, was a sixth-round pick from Virginia with speed and strength.
Tahj Washington
Washington, 22, was a seventh-round pick from USC and has good hands in the slot.
Others include: Anthony Schwartz, Braylon Sanders, Mathew Sexton
