Mets' Tyrone Taylor snagged the catch of the 2024 MLB postseason
New York Mets outfielder Tyrone Taylor made the catch of the 2024 MLB postseason so far in Game 3 of the NLCS at Citi Field on Wednesday night.
As Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Tommy Edman got a long hit to the warning track on a Luis Severino pitch in the top of the second inning, Taylor made sure it didn't hit the ground with this Matrix-like acrobatic catch.
Taylor almost collided with fellow Met Starling Marte on the play, which made his composure to snag the ball all the more impressive.
You'll want to watch this one over and over again, which you can below with the broadcast of the moment and a close-up angle of Taylor making the jaw-dropping catch.
