Wilson started slowly, scoring four points in the opening quarter and having three turnovers, but she turned it around quickly and ended the game shooting 9-of-17 from the field and 5-of-6 from the free-throw line. She dominated in the paint, scoring all of her points from there. Belgium seemingly had no answer for her.
She was the second-leading scorer for Team USA, only behind Breanna Stewart, who scored 26 points, and was instrumental in leading Team USA to its second win in the Paris Olympics.
