Luke Gray breaks Blake Griffin's Oklahoma Christian School basketball scoring record
After 17 years, Blake Griffin's record has been broken.
Luke Gray became the all-time scoring leader for Oklahoma Christian School's boys basketball program on Saturday. He reached a career total of 1,676 points during a 75-48 win over Fairview in the Cashion County Line Championship.
Gray surpassed Griffin, who finished his high school career in 2007 with 1,663 points. The Oklahoma City native then spent two seasons at OU and 13 seasons in the NBA, where he's currently a free agent.
Meanwhile, Gray's basketball career is just getting started.
The 6-foot-7 senior forward is rated by 247Sports as a three-star prospect in the 2024 recruiting class and the No. 3 overall player in the state of Oklahoma. He holds Division I offers from programs such as Liberty, North Carolina Greensboro and South Carolina State.
