LSU softball: Get live scores, updates for SEC Tournament opener vs. Alabama here

LSU softball is trying to win its sixth SEC Tournament championship this week, as the Tigers (38-14) take on the Alabama Crimson Tide (33-16).

The two teams most recently played in 2023, with Alabama taking two of three from LSU. The Crimson Tide is fresh off a trip to the Women's College World Series a season ago, but have struggled to a 10-14 record in SEC play this year. The Tigers, meanwhile, finished conference play at 12-12 and are looking for their first SEC tournament win since 2021.

The two teams will start their tournament runs on Wednesday.

LSU and Alabama will get the day of softball started with a 10 a.m. CT first pitch on Wednesday from Jane B. Moore Field in Auburn, Ala.
