BATON ROUGE — Games between rivals LSU football and Ole Miss don't need anything extra to heighten the environment or significance.

But as Brian Kelly's No. 10-ranked Tigers (4-1, 1-0 SEC) take the field against Lane Kiffin's No. 8-ranked Rebels (5-1, 1-1), many have set this as a pseudo College Football Playoff play-in game between the two old SEC West foes.

Both team's quarterbacks command the headlines ahead of the monster showdown. LSU junior signal caller Garrett Nussmeier and Ole Miss' senior quarterback Jaxson Dart are the top two players at their position in the conference by statistics.

Dart is second in FBS in passing yards with 2,100 through six games. His 13 passing TDs is good enough to tie for 15th in the country and second in the SEC.

It looked like Bentley was going to be stopped shortly after picking up enough yards to pick up the first down on fourth-and-short, but he shed a couple of would-be tackles for LSU and outrun everyone else for the 50-yard TD run.
