LSU basketball is back in the SEC Tournament, as the Tigers take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs in the second round.

LSU has won five of its last seven games to close the regular season, most recently defeating Missouri on Saturday, 84-80, to clinch the No. 8 seed in the SEC Tournament.

Mississippi State was seen as a potential NCAA Tournament team throughout February, including winning five straight to open the month. However, the Bulldogs (19-12) have lost four in a row since then, most recently a 93-89 overtime loss to South Carolina.

The two teams met in late February of this year, with Mississippi State winning 87-67 in Baton Rouge.
