LSU baseball will have to claw its way out of the losers bracket to try and keep its season going.

The No. 2 seed Tigers (41-22) lost their first game at the Chapel Hill Regional to No. 1 seed North Carolina, 6-2, Saturday night, relegating them to the losers bracket.

LSU is slated to take on No. 3 Wofford (42-19) in a win-or-go-home contest at Boshamer Stadium on Sunday (11 a.m. CT, ESPN+). The game will be the second between the two teams. LSU won the first showdown, 4-3, on a walk-off home run from freshman Steven Milam.

Wofford defeated Long Island, 5-2, Saturday to advance in the losers bracket and set up the rematch with the Tigers.
