LSU baseball NCAA Tournament projections: Where Tigers stand after SEC Baseball Tournament
LSU baseball sat squarely on the bubble when conference tournament week arrived.
Sporting a 30 RPI to go along with a less than stellar SEC record at 13-17, the Tigers needed to win a game in Hoover, maybe two to truly comfortably insert themselves into the at-large berth conversation. The Tigers (40-21) ultimately fell to No. 1 Tennessee, 4-3, Sunday afternoon at the Hoover Metropolitan in Hoover, Alabama but what they needed to accomplish NCAA Tournament wise was already in the bag.
Now as Selection Monday arrives, the question that begs asking is where will LSU be sent for NCAA regionals. The NCAA Tournament Selection Committee will reveal the field of 64 teams during the Selection Show Monday (11 a.m., ESPN2).
