The high school football season is well underway around the country, and it is time to start tracking how Alabama football commits fared over the last week of high school action.

Each week, The Tuscaloosa News will track how some of the top Alabama football commitments performed during high school games the week before. Here's a roundup of how some of future Crimson Tide players performed during high school action from the week of Sept. 2.

Anthony Rogers

Carver-Montgomery (Montgomery, Alabama), running back

Performance: Rogers recorded both a rushing and receiving touchdown in Carver's 46-0 win against Johnson Abernathy Graetz.

Keelon Russell

Duncanville (Duncanville, Texas), quarterback

Performance: The five-star prospect went 25 of 39 for 325 yards and five touchdowns in his senior season debut for Duncanville, which the Panthers won 34-12 over South Oak Cliff.

Caleb Cunningham

Choctaw County (Ackerman, Mississippi), wide receiver

Performance: In Choctaw County's 45-20 win over New Hope, the five-star prospect recorded a 32-yard touchdown reception.

Luke Metz

Mill Creek (Hoschton, Georgia), linebacker

Performance: In Mill Creek's 37-34 loss to North Gwinnett, its first loss of the season, Metz tallied six total tackles (five solo, one assisted) along with two quarterback hurries, one tackle for loss and a caused fumble. On offense, he recorded one reception for nine yards and a touchdown.

Kaleb Edwards

Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, California), tight end

Performance: Edwards had five receptions for 82 yards and a touchdown, with a long of 35 yards, in Oak Ridge's 38-16 loss to McCallie.

Dijon Lee

Mission Viejo (Mission Viejo, California), cornerback

Performance: The five-star prospect recorded four total tackles, two solo and two assisted, in Mission Viejo's 46-0 win over Liberty. He also added one tackle for loss and an interception.
