A look at Duke basketball’s 2025 recruiting targets, led by AJ Dybantsa
Duke basketball is in the mix to land several high-profile prospects in the 2025 recruiting class.
Head coach Jon Scheyer and the Blue Devils are welcoming the nation’s top-ranked class to Durham this summer. Cooper Flagg, Khaman Maluach, Isaiah Evans, Kon Knueppel, Darren Harris and Patrick Ngongba make up that six-player group.
As it stands in mid-May, no players in the 2025 class have committed to Duke, but there’s a lengthy list of interested high school standouts that could be in the mix to join the 2025-26 roster.
Here’s a look at some of Duke’s top targets for the 2025 class.
AJ Dybantsa
The nation’s top-ranked recruit in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports Composite, Dybantsa picked up an offer from the Blue Devils on May 6. A 6-foot-9 force for Prolific Prep in California, the Massachusetts native averaged more than 20 points per game. He was the Gatorade Player of the Year as a freshman in Massachusetts. He’s the prized recruit in 2025.
Cameron Boozer
Former Duke star Carlos Boozer has twin sons that could be playing for the Blue Devils in 2025-26. Cameron, the second-ranked recruit in the nation according to 247Sports, is a 6-foot-9 forward who averaged 22.2 points and 11.4 rebounds per game last season at Columbus High School in Miami.
Cayden Boozer
A 6-foot-3 guard and the third-ranked player at his position, Cayden averaged 12 points and 7.6 assists per game last season. After logging 272 assists across his first two years at Columbus, Cayden had 219 this season. Cayden and Cameron took an official visit to Duke in November 2023.
Nate Ament
The No. 18 overall recruit in the class according to 247Sports, Ament picked up an offer from Duke in September 2023. The 6-foot-6 wing averaged 19.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, 4.0 blocks and 3.7 assists per game as a junior at Highland in Virginia.
Brayden Burries
A 6-foot-4 guard from California, Burries is 13th in the 247Sports Composite rankings. The Blue Devils extended an offer to Burries in July 2023. He averaged 24.8 points, 7.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.7 steals per game at Roosevelt High School last season.
