The Purdue men's basketball team is in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament after convincing wins over No. 16 Grambling State and No. 8 Utah State.

Purdue (31-4) takes on No. 5 Gonzaga (27-7) today in the third round of March Madness. Earlier this season, the Boilermakers defeated the Bulldogs in the Maui Invitational, 73-63.

Zach Edey finished with 27 points and 14 rebounds. Braden Smith had 14 points and 15 assists. The Boilermakers are in the Elite 8. Purdue shot 57% from the floor.

Purdue will play either Creighton or Tennessee.
