CLEVELAND (AP/WJW) — The Cleveland Browns were looking for a big win in Jacksonville after last weekend’s blowout against the Dallas Cowboys. And thankfully, in Week 2, the team was able to win, but in true Browns fashion, it was a nail-biter in the fourth, with Jaguars’ Trevor Lawrence making a go of it in the final seconds of the game.
The Browns were ahead the whole game, despite a high number of penalties continuing to rain down on the team. In the fourth quarter, Cleveland was able to hold an 18-13 lead, getting the W.

FOX 8’s P.J. Ziegler reported during the first quarter that Deshaun Watson appeared more comfortable than last week.
Good first LONG drive for Deshaun Watson and the offense. Nice mix of run and pass for Stefanski and Dorsey. Watson looked more comfortable in that series than he did all of last week. #Browns

Myles Garrett was in the game. Earlier this week, the defensive end returned to practice on a limited basis after resting a foot injury for one day, and said Friday he’d take on Trevor Lawrence’s offense Sunday. Garrett, who has 47 sacks in the last three-plus seasons, didn’t disclose any specifics about his injury.
Cleveland’s defense couldn’t afford to be without Garrett after placing five players on injured reserve this week. Starting safety Juan Thornhill and defensive tackle Maurice Hurst II are among the group that will have to miss a minimum of four games.

End Za’Darius Smith, who plays on the opposite side of Garrett, also was back practicing after missing Thursday’s workout with a back issue.

While the defense plays at less than full strength, Cleveland’s offense is missing tight end David Njoku, who sprained his ankle in the opener and could miss several weeks. Njoku led the Browns in catches and receiving TDs last season.
The Browns also ruled out left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr., who continues to recover from offseason knee surgery. Two-time All-Pro right tackle Jack Conklin is also out after missing the opener.
#Browns T Jack Conklin (knee) is OUT today. Not a real surprise. Expect some issues with the offensive line today with him and Jed Wills (knee) out as well.@fox8news

There’s no question Cleveland and Jacksonville alike would love a Week 1 do-over. They’ll have to settle for a bounce-back.
