A 6-foot-3, 185-pounder, Sidwar led the Explorers to a 10-0 regular season in 2024 highlighted by a 35-34, four-overtime win over St. Joseph's Prep, giving Prep its first loss to a Pennsylvania team in three years. Sidwar threw four touchdown passes in the game.

La Salle is off this week prior to starting the District 12 Class 6A playoffs, where it will face St. Joe's Prep again Nov. 9 (1 p.m.) in the district semifinals at Wissahickon High School.

Reports indicate that Pitt and Syracuse are among the schools showing interest in Sidwar, who completed 186 of 285 passes (65 percent) for 2,439 yards with 29 touchdowns as a sophomore.
