The following players were placed on waivers for the purpose of re-assigning to the Ontario Reign of the AHL:

- Pheonix Copley

- Samuel Fagemo

- Jack Studnicka

Copley shouldn't come as much of a surprise with the acquisition of Darcy Kuemper and the re-signing of David Rittich this past off-season.

As for Studnicka and Fagemo, they will be core pieces of the Reign's lineup, who will be top of the call-up for the Kings when needed.

Andre Lee has also been sent to the AHL; however, he had an impression in camp and will be called up as soon as the Kings need an extra body.

The Kings also announced that both Drew Doughty and Arthur Kaliyev will start the season on the IR.
