Kim Mulkey, LSU women's basketball continue recruiting hot streak, land another top-15 recruit

BATON ROUGE – Kim Mulkey continues her tear on the 2025 high school recruiting trail.

Just days after landing the No. 13 prospect in ZaKiyah Johnson, LSU women's basketball earned a commitment from combo player Grace Knox, the No. 6 ranked recruit in the 2025 class. She announced her decision via X.

After the latest two pledges, LSU is now considered to have top the ranked recruiting class in 2025, the second time in three years it's done so.

LSU has four five-star recruits committed in the 2025 class, a stark and welcome difference than the last high school recruiting cycle, when the Tigers signed just one player, point guard Jada Richard.

Bella Hines, a guard from New Mexico, has been the longest commit to the class for LSU; she pledged her verbal back in the summer and is the No. 30 player. Divine Bourrage, a 5-foot-10 guard, committed to Mulkey and the Tigers several weeks ago and is listed at No. 12.

It's worth noting that Bourrage, Johnson and Knox all took an official visit to LSU over the offseason at the same time and have all committed to play for Mulkey and the Tigers.

A true forward is still noticeably missing for this class for LSU.

What Grace Knox brings to LSU women's basketball, Kim Mulkey's team

Knox, a California native, brings versatility to the Tigers with her size at 6-2 and her skill set. Knox has dunks in her highlight reels but also plenty of finesse and feel in the mid-range and around the rim.

Knox can also step out to the perimeter and shoot the three. Defensively, she can be a solid rim protector, which could help Mulkey create some interesting combinations with her lineups.
