Kansas basketball releases upcoming non-conference schedule, including Missouri matchup

LAWRENCE — Kansas basketball has released its non-conference schedule for the 2024-25 season.

This Jayhawks team, once again led by head coach Bill Self, won’t go without tests ahead of Big 12 Conference play. Veteran returning players such as graduate center Hunter Dickinson, graduate guard Dajuan Harris Jr. and senior forward KJ Adams Jr. will have their opportunities to learn what it’s like to play alongside a group of high-profile newcomers. Those additions include junior guard AJ Storr, graduate guard Shakeel Moore and senior guard Zeke Mayo.

But what are those tests Kansas will encounter? Which teams stand in the way of the Jayhawks getting off to the start they want this year? One is a rival, and another is the team KU beat to win the 2022 national championship.
