Kansas baseball vs Oklahoma recap: Jayhawks fall short in Big 12 tournament semifinal
LAWRENCE — Kansas baseball's Big 12 Conference tournament stay continued Friday with a game against Oklahoma in Arlington, Texas.
The Jayhawks and Sooners had only faced once before this season, on Thursday, during the Big 12 tournament. No. 1-seed Oklahoma beat No. 7-seed Kansas that day, 7-5, to advance to this game and send the Jayhawks to a game against No. 9-seed TCU — which Kansas beat 11-10 earlier Friday to earn a rematch against the Sooners. This was the Big 12 tournament semifinal, and whichever team advanced from here will play for the Big 12 tournament championship.
