Kalen DeBoer gives Alabama football injury updates on Qua Russaw, Malachi Moore
Alabama football coach Kalen DeBoer gave injury updates on both safety Malachi Moore and linebacker Qua Russaw during his off week press conference Monday.
Qua Russaw injury update
Russaw left Alabama's win 42-10 against Wisconsin late in the second quarter after his left ankle was rolled over by a teammate. He did not return for the rest of the game.
DeBoer said Monday that the off week is "huge" for Russaw and that he's already made positive progress, but that the staff will know more later in the week.
Malachi Moore injury update
Moore also left Alabama's road win against Wisconsin in the third quarter after DeBoer said he "got hit in the head." DeBoer said Monday Moore is "still going through protocol."
