Jayson Tatum debuts new Celtics-inspired colorways for Jordan Tatum 1s in Knicks win
All eyes were on star Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum in his team’s Monday night win against the New York Knicks as Tatum went into takeover mode late in the contest, but not just for his ability to put the proverbial biscuit in the basket.
Tatum also made a statement with his footwear. The game marked the debut of the Jordan Tatum 1 ‘Home Team’ colorway, the latest addition to his signature sneaker line with Jordan Brand (h/t SI’s Pat Benson). The ‘Home Team’ colorway pays homage to the Boston Celtics, one of the league’s most storied franchises and of course the team the St. Louis native plays for, the black and green a solid match for Boston’s alternate jerseys.
This new colorway is likely to be a Celtics fan favorite for obvious reasons and should be available for purchase starting today on Nike’s website.
