Looks like Christian Pulisic might not return to the U.S. men’s national team this month after all.

The 20-year-old Borussia Dortmund star, who was named this week to the U.S. team that will take on Colombia and Peru in friendlies later this month, is out indefinitely with what the German club called “torn calf fibers”:

Pulisic missed four games in September – two for Dortmund plus U.S. matches against Brazil and Mexico – with a muscle injury. He’s played just once for his country this year, in a 3-0 win over Bolivia in May.
