IndyCar race at St. Petersburg: TV, radio, practice, qualifying

The IndyCar Series begins its 2024 season on the streets of St. Petersburg, Fla., a 1.8-mile, 14-turn course. Marcus Ericsson won last year's race, in which a dozen cars suffered damage, with a Lap 1 crash eliminating five.

How long is the IndyCar race?

It is scheduled for 100 laps and 180 miles.

Push-to-pass: Drivers are allowed 150 seconds, with a maximum of 15 seconds for each use. Tires: Six sets of primary tires and four sets of alternate tires are available for the weekend. (Rookie drivers are allowed one extra set of primary tires.)

What channel is the IndyCar race on?

Race: Noon-2:30 p.m., NBC/Peacock, with Leigh Diffey (play-by-play), Townsend Bell and James Hinchcliffe (analysis), and Marty Snider, Kevin Lee and Georgia Henneberry (pit reporting)
